Privacy Policy — Fiscus

Last updated: 18 August 2026

Fiscus is a Chrome extension that turns your own AliExpress orders into PDF invoices. This policy describes exactly what it does with data. It is short because the extension does very little.

Fiscus has no server

There is no Fiscus backend. Nothing you do in the extension is sent to us, because there is nowhere for it to be sent. Every part of the extension runs inside your own browser tab.

What Fiscus reads

When you click the Fiscus button on your AliExpress orders page, it reads the order information already displayed on that page — order numbers, dates and amounts — in order to generate invoices from them.

It reads that page only when you click. It does not run in the background, it does not open pages on its own, and it stops as soon as you switch tabs or navigate away.

What Fiscus stores, and where

Stored locally on your computer using Chrome's extension storage:

ID, country, VAT rate, invoice prefix This data never leaves your computer. It is used only to print your details onto the invoices you generate. Uninstalling the extension removes it.

What Fiscus sends, and to whom

Exactly one outbound request exists in the entire extension:

Lemon Squeezy (api.lemonsqueezy.com) to check that it is valid. Only the licence key is sent. No order data, no company details, no personal information.

If that request fails, your existing access is unchanged.

What Fiscus does NOT do

Payments

Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. Payment details are entered on their systems and are never seen by Fiscus. Their privacy policy governs that transaction: https://www.lemonsqueezy.com/privacy

Permissions, and why each exists

computer so you do not retype them for every invoice your own AliExpress order pages; this is where it reads the orders you ask it to turn into invoices

Children

Fiscus is a business bookkeeping tool and is not directed at children.

Not affiliated with AliExpress

Fiscus is an independent tool. It is not made by, endorsed by, or affiliated with AliExpress or Alibaba Group. Invoices it generates are produced from your own order data and are not issued by AliExpress.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If the extension ever begins collecting data — which is not planned — that change will be described here before it ships.
